Music represents us - who we are, who we want to be; it’s where we share and express our highs as much as our lows. It's the one of the few things we as humans use to represent all aspects in our lives. In music we can find anything, from the thoughts of someone in an “alternative” state to the letter they never had the courage to send. From my music taste you’ll get an idea of me - whether you know me or not. I accept that and hope you’ll look at your own music taste the same. When I think about music, I think about all the hours, production, journaling and heart invested.
I grew up surrounded by music, from singing in the church choir to playing piano and violin in third grade. I had decided to make music my career - but not as an artist. I love the work that takes place behind it. There’s always people who are booking the shows, helping market and solidify an artist's brand. I decided to become someone who create helps create a journey with an artist.
I decided that this was going to be my career, it’s what I’m going to school for and how I spend my free time. I get to do this with my friends who are artists and taking as many opportunities that I’m afforded. With my school clubs I’ve learned how to set up a large scale music festival, reach out to music professionals to pick their brain and be part of a student run record label in being the A&R department to decide who our next possible artist to sign.
Welcome to my musical mind - you’re sure to find something interesting here.
